ELEXIR PHARMA - 3D animations
Client: ElexirPharma.se
Roles: Enviroment artist, 3D animator, Project manager
Breif: Make 2 x 3D animations. A storyteller for their website, displaying their product and a social media clip branding their product.
As the enviroment artsit my responsability was to build up the scenes using assets either maked from the team or from BlenderKit. Not only did I decortate everthing (and had too much fun with this) I also took care of the camera settings and setup, lights and shadow boxes. Since we only had a single computer with capasity to render fast and two others who could render but very slowly, I also had to think alot about otimizing the scenes for faster and better rendering.
Doing 3D animations did not only consist of the character animations, but also the shadowboxes, camera and background enviroments. Had I had more time and bugdet I would have loved spend more time fiddling with the plants and backgrounds for a more life-like forest.
Trying being a Project manager was a fun experiance as I love to keep orginized and plan ahead.
I tried my best constantly to be two steps ahead of the team, planning and rearanging the deadlines we had to fit the team. I also tried my best remind my team mates about resting time as all of us had the tendense of not knowing how and when to stop working.

As we had very limited time, spending 5+ days of rendering was not an option. For this reason, I set up a lot of the backgrounds with planes and very few models. You can also see the godlight box right infront of the tree.
How a typical scene would look like with materials added.
Most of the planes with images are 3D renders. All bushes was placed as a 3D model and then renderes as a singulare image.
Most of the background uses this rocky devider.

What did I animate?
The following scene was my responsability. All scene as been animated with Blender, and extra effects has been added with After Effects
